Discovery Gap Cover does not pay out claims

I am so disappointed at Discovery and their fancy Gap cover. Absolute waste of time and money being on Discovery Gap Cover. I'm on the comprehensive gap cover, and they pay for nothing.

Daughter needed a CT scan done on the 2nd of October. I called gap cover and the consultant , who I must say was very professional, told me to use the call reference number as the authorization number as I was in a rush as she was in the emergencies ward. I submitted the invoice after I had paid as my savings was finished with a proper authorization number being *** , and Gap cover refuse to pay for it even though I've submitted it 3 times. The reason being "we have app**** a co-payment on this claim" really? Exactly they are supposed to cover the co-payment, yet you don't. They contradict each other. Then for the Neurologist specialist that my daughter was referred to and I paid upfront, then they declined the claim. 2 other claims were also rejected in the same week. This week my daughter is going in for an MRI, which has been authorized by Discovery but I've been told to make the co-payment, which Ill do, but also knowing full well that gap cover wont refund me even though they supposed to for the co-payment. They very quick to sell you this product explaining all the fantastic benefits, yet when it comes time to claim, they pay for nothing. I will be cancelling this gap cover as I see no reason in paying for something that I cannot use and is a waste of money
