Discovery Gap Cover Billing Disaster
Discovery Health Gap Cover Incorrect billing.. Discovery Gap Cover has been billing me incorrect premiums for an entire year.. I want a refund of the difference.. And now they want to increase my Gap Cover premiums to R1069 Per Month for a Coastal Plan when it should be R748 next year for an Essential Plan, when i have been on Discovery Essential Core the entire year..

Old Members are subsidising/being punished, New members pay less for the same product for 2024 & 2025
We can confirm Discovery Gap Cover ran an Essential Discounted campaign for the year of 2024. This only app**** to new members joining Discovery Gap Cover with a date of entry January 2024-December 2024 granting discounted rates as their Health plan is an Essential plan type. The 2025 Discovery Gap Cover brochure premiums houses a continuation of the Essential Discounted campaign, these do not apply to existing Essential members who joined Discovery Gap Cover prior to 2024 or existing Discovery Gap Cover members who changed to an Essential plan effective January 2024. We do apologise for the inconvenience caused.
I will report discovery to the necessary Ombudsman.
