Discovery full of excuses not to pay things they actually can cover - Horrid service

After several discussions with Discovery Health they still refuse to cover a "walker" given In Hospital when admitted for an emergency. I live in Thabazimbi, nearest and only hospital was Mediclinic _ and yet they still refuse to cover treatment because it was not under a preferred provider - Yet when phoning Discovery it clearly states that in a case of emergency you should go to your nearest hospital??? Thats what i did. Also in Discovery Keycares medical "handbook" about what they cover and not cover (walkers, emergencies and mobility care is covered - yet they still refuse to cover my mobility treatment for which i still have an amount of R5400 left? But they keep turning down my walkers amount of R1800? It also states that this amount can be taken out of my day to day cover - yet they still refuse??? My docter which treated me in hospital had to fill in 2 documents so far (for which i have to pay) the m/a still refuses cover since there is a new excuse each time why they refuse cover. The excuses went as follow: First they do not cover walkers? Then when i noted their own papedwork to them they changed the excuse to the wrong Icd10 codes were used, when i aaked the supp**** fo resubmit the m/a came up with the new excuse that they were not the preferred provider and it wouldve been better fo travel to my nearest network pdovider (when i pointed out that due to my emergency torn ligaments i was unable to travel 2 hours too my nearest network provider) the next excuse was raised:That a walker was absolutely unnecessary in the treatment ofmy injury... So i guess Discovery wouldve prefered me walking around without recieving the actual treatment. Ive been a member of Discovery for 3years and yet this is the continuous horrid service i recieve. I guess Keycare is d just another money making scheme since there are loads of excuses when they need to cover the actual cost ofsomething their books state they do cover. Discovery is a dissapointment to members.

Is there more paperwork i need to oay for to get completed only for Discovery to come uo with a new elaborate excuse????
