DISCOVERY FAILS ALL AROUND

For two weeks I have been attempting to call Discovery Bank, Digital and various other departments to assist me. The calls are rarely answered and when they are, I am transferred (as that was the wrong department). I am put on hold until the phone cuts out. I have written the following to them, in a vain attempt, for desperate help. ..........

After attempting to call your call centre/s for more than two weeks, I am highly irritated For the first time, today, after 5 did the call actually get answered! I am not able to log in your system tells me to rest my password I receive an OTP Your system says it’s successful When I sign in again, I go through the same process, with the same result Then I receive a note in red indicating that I am not a member Early today I sent a mail and received a case number with a promise that an agent would call me No call was received Late today I called and two different people tried to assist me The problem remains the same I now have two reference numbers (for whatever they’re worth)

I want to change bank details, upgrade, apply for a policy, apply for a credit card, get an apple watch and begin to log my vitality points online. The first call centre lady that I spoke with today suggested that it is because I am older and do not understand technology that I am struggling.

Discovery, religiously, receive my premiums each month. I am a low claimer with a membership of many years. I am not a high-maintenance client. However, now, that I do need assistance (and to pay more to Discovery) I receive no assistance.
