Discovery essential smart plan is day light ******* and just a scheme.

It is just embarrassing how this plan operates, went for glasses this year and was turned down as this useless plan does not cover. I suffer from eczema and it also does not cover advantan. I have recently had to go for physio and had to pay a complete consult fee! I also can't visit so many doctors or convenient pharmacies because this plan has such a limited network.

I was conned by your broker into taking this plan which doesn't seem to be a "medical aid". Every little thing that I do leads to more and more payments yet I pay more than R2000 each month.

This plan is not user friendly at all and when I asked for change I was told that I can't and can only change at year end.

I was also advised that plans are income based.

Income based why!? Stop doing this Discovery!
