Discovery does not pay up in an emergency. Beware, its shocking!

I am appalled by this company. I have been a member for 20 years and have what i thought was adequate cover for my family. Now one of my dependents requires urgent surgery and Discovery has the procedure code as a day clinic code. Unfortunately the day clinic can only schedule the operation in 2 weeks time which is too late. Now using the regular network hospital, Discovery refuses to pay for this non elective urgent surgery. On top of this, their call center refuses to escalate this problem. I am beyond disgusted in this company
