Discovery does not cover PMB's

I am a diabetic depended on insulin covered under PMB (Prescribed Minimum Benefits). My Chronic Medication -Novomix 30 flexpen was approved by Discovery in writing on 20 April 2016 for at least a year. There after Discovery paid for my Novomix pens on 24 April 2016 and 7 May 2016.

In June I am soon to discover while trying to pick up these pens at Clicks Pharmacy that my claim for this medication has been declined, apparently the Doctor that prescribed the medication in the first place was not acceptable. Please note that I did not receive any communication in writing or verbally from Discovery that the status of my approved medication now suddenly changed.

I contacted Discovery and they informed me that a Doctor, from a so called List which I had to pull of the Internet myself, had to fill in a Appeal form and send it back to Discovery. I also requested Discovery twice to mail me this Appeal Form without any luck. I in any case made an appointment with the Listed Doctor who appealed the application electronically. Once again the application was declined by Discovery without any communication.

Seriously this is not on. As we are dealing with a life threatening decease and me being without my PMB insulin I need to escalate this on an urgent basis!!
