Discovery does not care about Women's Health!

I am not happy with the fact that Discovery makes it EXTREMELY difficult for patients to have follow up consultations with Specialists. I have been diagnosed with PCOS years ago and every Gynae suggested a two year follow up. For the past 4 years I was not able to see a Gynae as Discovery needs a whole list of tests etc that my plan does not cover and then there is no guarantee that the specialist visit would be approved either! It honestly feels like Discovery does not care about Womens health at all!

On another note that I am not happy with, previously a specialist confirmed that I have a nodule on my thyroid in recent years it started to grow, this year I had to see a specialist and needed to have an FNA done. The specialist also suggested a 6month follow up however my whole specialist benefit is depleted, since when does all tests etc get funded from the specialist visit, in the past it use to be used for consultations only? Honestly, I don’t understand why we are paying so much for medical aid that makes it so difficult to get the necessary medical attention?
