Discovery do not care about senior citizens lives,its all about the money

I cannot believe how cruel Discovery med aid can be to a senior citizen of South Africa.My dad ( age 63),who is a heart patient,was feeling sick on the morning of the 24 May 2024.He told me he had chest pains and he also had problems breathing.so I drove him to Len Med Heart hospital.The doctor in the emergency department saw to him and ran many tests on him.thereafter he was sent home.Two weeks after that,my dad was admitted to the same hospital and four stents was put into his arteries.Now he receives a bill of R4000 from Len med hospital because Discovery refuses to pay.It clearly shows you that my dad was really sick on the 24 of May, but the doctor on duty maybe was *********** in doing her job and let my dad go home and now discovery med aid is refusing to pay the bill.My dad is unemployed and doesn't have R4000.it is not his fault the doctor sent him for so many tests and thereafter sent him home.Now my dad is afraid to go to the hospital.My dad is stressing everyday about the R4000 hospital bill. My sister contacted Discovery med aid and Len med hospital, both advised they cannot do anything and my dad needs to pay the R4000 to the hospital and Len med hospital refuses to write it off as well.It clearly shows you Discovery med aid and Len Med hospital do not worry about saving lives and only worry about making money.
