Discovery denies you dignity and life

Discovery Medical Aid is super quick to take your money for monthly premiums, but when you need them then your request for funding for treatment is denied. My husband has a chronic illness, which has been approved by the medical scheme. We are on the 3rd highest plan and are paying in excess of R12 000.00 per month. However when doing requests for his CHRONIC medicines it gets denied by the Medical Review Team. He also needs to have an operation to correct a fistula that is causing him to almost be bedridden and today we get the "we regret to inform you " letter. This is utterly disgusting! If he does not have the operation he cannot get better and his chances of getting cancer skyrockets. I cannot pay for the operation myself as most of our income goes to paying the MEDICAL AID.
