Discovery denies critical meds despite available funds

I have a high risk pregnancy and prescribed special pricey medication monthly from my gynecologist that needs to be taken on time. This medication usually comes off my Discovery medical savings. This month I am told the med aid will only cover the medication a week later than when the prescription is due, despite me running out of medication, having enough funds in savings and collecting at correct time. I cannot do without the meds so had to pay huge amounts in out of pocket to obtain the meds. We pay exorbitant amounts for med aid and have savings pockets to cover our medication but the med aid won't allow vital medication when it's due. This is unacceptable and puts critical patients at risk that can't afford the out of pocket fee. It seems every time we try to claim for critical things, Discovery disappoints and give the response that they "don't work weekends" or will "get back in 2-hours working days" .
