Discovery Classic Smart Plan let us down

We had a situation yesterday where I had to take my Fiancee to Westville hospital. This is a life hospital and supposed to be covered properly under my Classic Smart plan. After getting the necessary treatment and being discharged we ended up with a bill of R 5,821.67 ! I queried this and was told its not covered under the Smart plan but should she have been admitted it may have been covered. To only find out on the way out that that was even an option was disgusting on Westville Hospital's behalf but the fact that we ended up with an almost R6K bill is unbelievable. I pay Discovery R 5,394 p/m for my plan + gap cover and get faced with this now. Disgusting!
