Discovery Chronic Department just not helping my plight!

My wife has been diagnosed with an annular lumbar tear in one of her vertebrae's, the Orthopaedic Surgeon has opted not to operate and she is been treated with a morphine patch which we have to apply to this region of her spine!

As these patches are a schedule 6 medication they are extremely expensive costing in the region of R1,600 for 10. I have tried every avenue to try and receive these patched through the Chronic Department at Discovery to no avail, repetitive letter from the Surgeon have been sent to Discovery and each time been revoked saying that the ICD10 Code is incorrect, on speaking to the Surgeon there seems to be NO ICD10 code representing this condition and subsequent treatment in these patches!!!

Obviously my medical aid funds are now depleted given the costing of my wife's medication each month including these patches and other for the same condition, I just get no assistance regarding possible solutions from the Chronic Department so as this could be granted under the Chronic Medication banner, all we get are letter revoking the Surgeons request as said there seems to be no ICD10 code available for this treatment!!!!
