Discovery charging for free covid vaccine and hiking medical aid contributions

I'm starting to appreciate the importance of comparing prices before buying products, especially insurance. With the economy in the doldrums and companies offering 0% salary increases for the past 5 years, Discovery Medical Aid has the audacity to hike premiums by 8%. It's profit at all costs for these companies. Their alternative is for me to downgrade my plan so that I may run out of funds should I get sick. Last week they charged me R400 for the covid vaccine that the government was offering for free. I will not accept this ******ion. It's time to switch.
