Discovery are takers not givers!!!

Our daughter had 2 extremely large ovarian cysts removed which cost a fortune because of the magnitude of them and that she is only 16 and the Doc tried to save her ovaries for future fertility hopefully. They were so large the Doc had to drain them first to ensure that they did not rupture inside her and give her septicaemia. It was lengthy and intricate. Just the surgeons account came to R14000 of which Discovery only paid R5000. We pay nearly R10 000 a month for our families health care and Discovery cannot pay in full for an in hospital operation like this - unbelievable. Theft is what I call it!
