Discovery abandons patient abroad
My father in law had a stomach perforation due to a cyst and needed emergency surgery while in Malaysia. Due to the fact that 2 MONTHS PRIOR to leaving my father in law go acid reflux medication from the doctor Discovery is now refusing to help based on the fact that he should have known. This is a joke. Will never trust in their travel insurance again. Poor form.

Due to the Confidentiality Act, the Scheme is unable to provide you with any information on the membership unless we receive written confirmation from the principal member. I can however confirm that I was in contact with the principal member and have provided her with feedback on the funding decision on her husband's treatment request.
