I have been dealing with this complaint since 17 September and NOT ONE SINGLE PERSON HAS BEEN ABLE TO HELP.

I'd just like to point out how Discovery should not take "the hospitals word for it".... as it turns out the hospital did not do their job resulting in you choosing to believe false information. Nonetheless, it came out that the Case Manager did not do her job properly, and Discovery done absolutely zilch to assist me in the incident. Thanks Discovery for making an already stressful situation even more stressful than it should have been.

I have literally complained twice via HelloPeter, your complaints department (nobody ever gets back to me), spoken to multiple people telephonically and nobody has any idea how to properly assist me with my damn refunds. I have now reached a point of being beyond ****ed off. Majority of my personal time is spent trying to get assistance from Discovery.

Long story short, I was hospitalised and the Case Manager at Vincent Pallotti clearly did not know how to do her job. She never requested pre-authorisation...resulting in Discovery not paying for anything. After multiple fights with you and the hospital the Case Manager finally did what she was supposed to from the very beginning. Discovery then sent me authorisation 3 MONTHS LATER (authorisation number ***8).

The problem is that we already paid for the majority of the bills from our own pocket. When we called Discovery the other day to query our refunds they said we should submit proof of payments via your App, which is just as useless as the Case Manager we had dealt with.

I need someone to assist me ASAP with our refunds as this has now gone on for 4 months straight. And when speaking to someone during the week that they have now also paid the same people we paid, which means that these practitioners have been overpaid and received 2 of the same payments. This has become frustrating and tedious as I am having to tell people how to do their jobs, and have had to BEG for someone to actually help us! We want our money back!!
