Ever wondered why they call it a medical scheme ; cause they scheme they can take your money.

Paying every month , 8 years not once in hospital. on 15 april I was admitted to Emergency ward Unitas , I cut a main artery on my leg At hospital I had to pay cash , else I need to go to state hospital I had to claim that back from discovery Question :Why do I have a medical aid for emergncy if they wont pay ,

on june 25 Unitas send me a bill , R930 for the Dr Discovery claims this as out of hospital claim and does not pay for it. Yet telephonicly they said claims in emergancy will be paid - if loss of Blood - Possible loss of Life -Possible loss of Limbs All 3 was applicable , when asking if you lose a limb if untreated or loosing blood they rep****" We are not medical Docters , we can not say " . yet the can make a disicion on a medical matter to pay or not.

Now I a have to do hr work with the dr to get the form signed , dr in mergency can not remember the incident due to time frame
