Discovery

I am very disappointed in Discovery Health. I had a tumor removed from my breast (ductal breast cancer stage 2). on 6 August 2019.

The Oncologist suggested that the tumor must be sent away for further testing (Mamma Print) to determine whether I am high or low risk for the cancer to spread. Discovery was supposed to contact me to get my permission. NO contact was made (either telephonically or via email). The test is supposed to take three week for the final results.

I visited my doctor a month after the operation and the tumor was still in the lab in South Africa.

A week ago, with my doctor's visit, I signed a form which was sent to Discovery. It is now a week later and still NOTHING from Discovery!!!!!!!!!!!! The tumor is still in the lab!!!

My health is at risk here and I was supposed to start with treatment already. They will only be able to start once they have got the results back from the Mamma Print. Is the cancer now spreading while I am waiting for them to just wake up and authorise this test?????
