Discovery

I am utterly disgusted with Discovery medical aid. I had an operation on the 1st of November which there was complications ... what happened was in medical terms was "Ileus". I went for a CT scan and then I had to go for a Gastroscopy. This is where the issue happened and the reason why I am disgusted with Discovery. I had to make a co-payment of R3 675 for the Gastroscopy. And believe me when I say it was said to me in no uncertain terms NO PAYMENT TO TREATMENT!!!!!!! Is this how Discovery treat their members??? This was inhumain ... I was in excrutiating pain and they refused me treatment!!!!!! Their reply on my email was PATHETIC to say the least. You are just a number with Discovery ... they feel a flying feather for a human-being!!!!!!!!!
