"Discoverme" De*****ing medical aids!!!
This is the worst mother fu . . . of a medical aid insurer. I'm being pushed around for a procedure that need to take place on Friday 23October20. The medical insurer doesn't want to cover part of a procedure that the specialist will need to claim for. According to there professional team, this need to be covered from our medical savings or be paid for in cash. We've already spent almost R20k for procedures running up to be hospitalized and should we need anything else like prescription meds or GP visits, the funds would be depleted.
According to the specialist, the medical aid want them to first follow other medical proceedings(coming from our medical saving), before concluding to having a patient hospitalized for a rozotomy, which was preceded by fasset blocks. What the fu. . . . are they paying for or why do we pay such exorbitant medical aid fees if we are required to still pay in cash with shortfalls? I'm so frustrated, that I feel that they can all go f.. themselves.

They(Discovery) call me just to fu.... tell me that they only want to pay for the one code. The rest must come from my savings, which is in its moe... already. The amount they want from my savings is almost R17k. This *** need to get resolved asap cause I need to get my painful condition sorted. In the meantime, I'm trying to get all media platforms and communities to back me in the fight, cause apparently I'm not the only person having to fight about my own money. The scheme is about enriching themselves, instead of having a patients claim honored.

The idiots call me every time , just to confirm that they will only pay for the one code, as stated above regarding "payment responsibility". They(Discovery) clearly know that, not everybody know what there rights are, regarding companies not providing the services monies are being deducted for. It seem to be the insurers business to withhold payment, and find fault, to not make/honor a medical claim/payment. As is the case with short term insurance's.
How do you tell an irate person, that is fighting for his/her rights concerning debut orders, supposedly for medical insurance, that you as the service provider knows what they are going through? You don't know **** about what I'm going through!!! Do you have/feel any of my pains? Do you sit awake during the night stressing about what am I gonna do if the medical insurance don't want to honor my claim? Which in this instance, is the case. Do you worry about, not being able to provide for my family because of my situation/pain/inability to move around without pain? (I'm self-employed)
Let's be honest here people!!! Stop taking the **** companies like "Discovery" is giving you about your own investment. Take your money and decide for yourself. Invest in a service provider who have your well-being at heart and not in their pockets. If you search on the internet for "medical specifics" insurance, where you can be in control of you own money/expenditures, this big de*****ers will fold. They don't want people to know about cheaper ways to be covered to the max.
