Disappointment in service procedures.

As a member of Discovery Health for over 25 years and pleased to say have had a healthy 71 years. This year after losing 8 kilos in less than 2 months I was referred to a specialist surgeon who advised that he would carriy out a Colonoscopy where he discovered and removed a large polyp from my colon. Before I could be admitted to hospital for this procedure I had to pay R3900.00 which I thought would be refunded. Was I wrong? it seems that if this procedure had been done in the doctors rooms all fee's would be paid. The fact is if I had ignored all my symptoms I probably would have developed cancer as a polyp has 4 stages. This month I was advised to see a neurologist who in his rooms did tests and carried out an EEG. This cost me R4000. My refund was R1100. Having a tooth crowned cost me R2200 no refund. I am on Priority classic paying close to R40000.00per year my medical saving account is under R10000.00 in all the years have had very few reasons to use their services. What happens to the thirty thousand ?My wife is on Discovery Executive and on contacting Discovery to enquires about visiting a neurologist she was told they would pay R577.00 not his fee of R2450.00.
