Disappointment in Discovery Health Services

Discovery Health ******* of note! I have been suffering in pain for months and situation getting worse. Because of the pain that is unbearable that cannot even sleep at night, went to consult and my GP referred me to a specialist for Lipoma. Medical aid approved specialist visit knowing full well going to decline if any surgery needs to be done. WHY waist my funds because consulting with the specialist was for nothing free consultation. I spoke to one of your consultants while I was in specialist rooms that made it very clear authorization for surgery is declined and an escalation will not change outcome. The service is pathetic as even went so far to say that I need to pay for the surgery and if found that its cancerous then only the medical aid will pay. So indirectly saying you should have cancer. No one can predict the future. In 2016 similar procedure was approved same medical aid plan same specialist. I am truly disappointed with the inefficiency and lack of concern from Discovery Health. Clearly, the client is not valued.
