Disappointing service

I'm extremely disappointed in Discovery for the poor service provided and the empty promises made by consultants every time you call let alone the amount of time you spend waiting to get through to the consultants.

On the 26th July I paid cash for a gnae consultation because we couldn't get through to the centre and confirm benefits.I submitted the claim and attached the invoice from the Dr,the claim was rejected and an ammended invoice sent again to discovery.I called numerous times because the information Discovery requested was visible on the invoice yet they still rejected and each consultant I spoke to confirmed the error would be rectified and an enquiry will be done.Till to date,despite the ammended invoices sent,the calls made,the promises from Discovery I haven't been re-reimbursed my funds.

On the 13th August again I consulted with the same Dr and benefits were confirmed and funds were available on the maternity benefit.The Dr's claim was partly paid and I was liable for the balance as according to Discovery no funds were available.That was alarming because I still had consultation and ultra sound benefits available on my maternity benefit.When I called again to query I was promised this would be escalated and enquiry would be logged.After a week there was still no resolution and I called only to be pulled from pillar to post and promised to be called back.The Dr has still not received his funds and I have numerous references and enquiry numbers.This is rather uncalled for.
