Disappointed and Frustrated
My Husband was admitted on 17 Nov and discharged on 21 Nov. First of all, we went to a hospital within my network of hospitals. I had to physically phone and email the actual dr treating my husband as well as Discovery multiple times to follow up on PMA forms. Then I start getting bills from the hospital, only to find out that Discovery needs to further investigate and ask questions before this PMA form gets approved or declined! If declined, I'm liable for the bill. Could this not have been done last week? Today is the 25th! I pay a small fortune equal to someones salary every month for this **** service! I constantly have to phone in and follow up and sit with the stress of getting hospital bill after bill. YOU need to be able to sort this out on behalf of the patient / client! Is this not what I pay Discovery for?? I have never in my life struggled so much with hospitalization. I am so frustrated and utterly disappointed in the service provided in a stressful and emotionally draining situation!
