Disappointed

<p>I started my cover with Discovery Health on the 1st of April 2015.</p> <p>I added my baby girl on cover from Sept 2016.</p> <p>Im always the one bragging by all my friends and family how good Discovery is and that they should also move over to you guys but today im not a happy chappy.</p> <p> </p> <p><br />Im paying a sh"t load of money every month and now it went up in January as well.</p> <p>Currently im paying R3608.00 for myself and my baby.</p> <p> </p> <p><br />I took my girl to see a pediatrician on the 6th of January and when i checked how much Discovery deducted from my savings it was R877.70 but when i phoned Dr Tabane's offices they said that the consultation fee is R600 cash but on medical aid its R877.70</p> <p> </p> <p><br />I went to the pharmacy and got Nexiam 2.5mg (24) - on medical aid you charged me R644.09 but cash it would've cost R336.30</p> <p> </p> <p><br />How is that possible? How does that make sense?</p> <p>Thats why by the time its June your medical savings are up because you charge more and for me thats *****ing. The ones paying medical aid should actually pay less for medication and doctors as we pay so much every month.</p> <p> </p> <p><br />I can then just as well cancel my policy and save R3608 per month and when i need to take baby to the doctor i use the money that i saved.</p> <p> </p> <p><br />Someone must phone me and explain and also see if we can do something to that monthly amount or i will need to look at getting other cover.</p> <p> </p> <p><br />Marisca Nothnagel</p>
