Contacting Discovery Health has become very time consuming, frustrating and complex. Look for preauthorisations on their website and you won't find it. Difficult to speak to a human without a long waiting time as they are always very busy. Once you do eventually get to speak to someone they are very polite and friendly. Discovery appears more focused on banking, insurance and other financial instruments than the medical aid.
