Denied Pet ct

My parents and I traveled to China on 25 December 2015. My dad was not feeling well and started experience chest pain and coughs daily. He went for a chest ct scan in China and ct scan showed two nodules or lesions, 1.5cm and 1 cm diameters each. The doctor in China suggested immediate operations as these nodules are most likely cancerous. I contacted discovery international and the consultant advised that if my dad is still fit for the flight, it is better to have the operation in South Africa. The earliest flight we can get is 17 January. My parents arrived on 18 January and later that day, my dad is not feeling well and was admitted to hospital.

The doctor has seen the ct scans we brought back from China and advised my dad to have a pet ct before operation. They started preparing the forms 19 January and were sent to discovery oncology department morning 20 January. The doctor and I have called and I have emailed many times but discovery kept saying no forms were received and today the doctor told me discovery has denied it but I have received nothing from Discovery. I regret as we should not have listened to the consultant to come back to SA for the op.
