Deduction of Monthly Contribition after I Resigned
Resigned as a Bankmed Medical Aid member in November 2015 after being a member since May 1978.<br> Confirmation received that membership would be terminated on 31st December, 2015, letter dated 23rd November, 2015.<br> As a Non Bank Official member, I have taken the opportunity to move my business elsewhere after hearing some horror stories related to the service of the new Bankmed Administrator company, Discovery Health and have no further affiliation to the Bank.<br> IN MY VIEW THIS IS A STRAIGHT SERVICE / ADMINISTRATION ISSUE AND I AT NO STAGE CAN IT BE CONSTRUDE TO BE AN EMPLOYMENT GRIPE...I HAVE MAINTAINED ALL MY CONNECTIONS WITH FNB. <br> Having already made the payment for the new Medical Aid for the Month of January 2016, Discovery then effect a deduction to my account on 25th January, 2016.<br> Kindly refund the deduction ASAP.

We've confirmed that your query has been resolved. We have withdrawn the new membership effective 31 December 2015 and requested a refund for the premium taken. The refund was already requested on 1 February 2016 and should reflect in your account shortly if it is not showing yet.
