Declining Medical Authorization for 2 year old.

My Daughter developed “****le” and has healed, but she still has a subcutaneous mass that is palpable and painful after 4 months . Numerous doctor visits later and various treatments and it haven't healed .

I got revered to Dermatologist who cant say what it is, she needs excision of the lesion in order to obtain a histological diagnosis and get treatment.

After numerous calls to Discovery and calls made by Specialist to the Health advisors they still decline to pay for the operation. I have a 2 year old that complaints about painful mass under her arm and they gave a simple answer that the specialist can do this procedure at the the practice. So please Discovery please explain how you are going to perform this procedure on a kid that needs a anaesthetics due to her age.

How will they know whats wrong if you are not willing to pay them to find out? According to Discovery its an exclusion under KeyCare Plus, so if you get any kind of skin problems thats painfull or affects you health they wont pay.

Discovery doesn't care about your health, they just want your money

You are pathetic service provider, its going to cost me over r12 000 for something you decline, makes you think, what if its something bigger, you will just turn around and decline that as well.
