Deceptive benefits and waste of money

I was recently advised to have my wisdom teeth removed, knowing that I have medical aide put me at ease financially, I figured it wouldn't be a problem at all, considering my plan offers "unlimited private hospital cover."

To my surprise I found out that this very routine procedure is not covered at all, even though the benefits specifically say "Guaranteed full cover in hospital for specialists."

I also recently had a root canal, which was not covered, these are the only 2 large medical procedures I've ever undergone and neither has been covered, I've been paying a lot of money every month only to be told that the pennies that go towards basic consultations are the only things being covered and am slowly realizing that this scheme seems entirely pointless.

I no longer feel confident that, if anything were to happen to my health, I would be assisted by Discovery medical aide, so much money completely wasted and very frustrated.
