Debt still unsettled

Good day.

This is the last complaint i will be logging regarding my Discovery claim. I have been taken from pillar to post about this, i will then refer the matter through to the medical aid ombudsman.

I inquired about the unauthorized amounts in August for the hospitalization i had in May. I have been informed that i need to now settle the amount of +-R2270 @ Life Fourways hospital. The sad thing about about this is the fact that there is no TAT of the complaint to be provided with feedback, 4 months later the issue is still investigated with the third party of which i really find unfair at this point, i am not willing to pay this amount, but do i have a choice, as this is now under my name and it is my debt. The frustrations i have been dealing with, the incompetence i have been furnished with. I regret being on Discovery which is why i have changed.

I am really not happy about this and i am hoping there is somehow a way out on this issue. The more frustration i have is the fact that even if i pay the hospital, nobody will reimburse me the amount yet i have unlimited hospital cover. No wonder my depression issues keep arising. And not even once have i missed any premium, i want my money back.
