Debited Twice Same Day
I joined discovery medical aid towards the end of June 2015 and i requested that my membership be activated from the 1st July 2015 and i agreed with the financial advisor that i want my debit orders to go out on the 15th of every month. Today in the morning i got the shock of my life when i discovered that they debited double what they were suppose to debit. My monthly premiums were suppose to be R1 297, but they deducted R2590. I called the call centre but nooone is giving me a satisfactory explanation. I want my money back or they should just cancel my medical aid. This is a nightmare as i joined Discovery in good faith. Membership No. ***.

Thank you for your comment.
I investigated your query and confirmed that we double debited as you chose a variable debit order date. I sent a detailed email with more details on your query and the way forward. I will be in contact with you until your query is resolved.
Thank you for allowing me to assist with your query.
