I am on classic saver plan and I injured my knee so I went to a doctor who referred me to a orthopaedic who referred me to a physiothe******. To my surprise I started getting emails from doctors that discovery didn't pay them so I called the call centre and enquired why my doctors were not paid and I was told some ******* story of how 25% goes to my savings account and that is the money I will use to pay specialist and 75% goes somewhere. My question is who instructed discovery to put 75% of my money somewhere because I cant consult. I pay R2300 discovery health every month and still pay my doctors cash, imagine the nerve of these people. To make matters worse before consulting my specialists I called the call centre to ask if I will be covered for my consultations and the *********** people at the call centre said yes. Some woman called me from discovery and said she will listen to my call with the call centre agent and get back to me but to this day I'm still waiting. I want people to wake up to discovery and find better medical aids before its too late. These people are ****** nothing more.
