COVID TEST NOT BEING PAID FOR

During a pandemic of international proportions covid our medical aid was just useless, discovery came up with every excuse in the book not to pay for covid test let alone being admitted (even thou some tested positive) first excuse was that the pathology code was incorrect CO19 was a the code needed, I resolved by getting an updated statement I spoke to a lovely lady Thembi but then they were other reasons, secondly you need to complete a risk assessment before they can pay, and now the latest one is that the pathology referral was not done by a Dr but by a lab itself was the final nail in coffin to say they will not pay ur claim.
