Covered for cochlear, but approval declined

Last year I lost all hearing in my left ear due to an intracannalicular vestibular schwannoma. This was confirmed with a MRI scan, and Dr. In order for me to get my hearing back, I need a cochlear implant. This has to be implanted when removing the schwannoma, as scar tissue from the removal will make it impossible later.

In my policy with Discovery, Classic Saver plan, states and I quote "Cochlear implants, auditory brain implants and processors R207 000 for each person for each benefit" No where does it state that they only fund for cochlear implants for bilateral hearing loss.

What happens when I lose hearing in my right ear, its to late then to implant cochlear.

Dr. have contacted Discovery and explained my unique situation, and that this is the only option for me. I have not been contacted by Discovery, or for me to be examined by any of their doctors.

Dr instructed me that I am not allowed to drive. I am a Project Manager, of which meetings are 90% part of my day, the loss of hearing in my left ear has made this difficult and frustrating. I have permanent vertigo and nausea as well, and at risk of injuring myself.

Discovery only wants to pay to remove the tumor.

Discovery continues to decline my Cochlear implant, thus I've logged a dispute with the Council of Medical schemes.
Classic Saver Plan - Page 8 - Hospital cover - "Cochlear implants, auditory brain
implants and processors
R207 000for each person for each benefit"
Till then I need to pay for this myself. Over R300 000 currently. But to get a split bill from Discovery is now the next issue. After sending them the updated information last week Wedensday 8/3( submitted original on Monday 6/3), and multiple follow up emails, and 2 phone calls. No one even have the decency to contact me, I need to know what they expect me to pay, cause I need to get n loan for the procedure, and also the authorisation code as the dr needs to book the theater.
