Copayment **** on the scheme

I am extremely disappointed with Discovery Health that I find inconsiderate and inconsistent. When we took the cover, they asked for our address to determine hospitals within my area and to my demise, I am now pregnant and being a first time mom, I want to be better prepared for delivery etc. There are 3 hospitals closest to me namely Sunward Park netcare which is 3.9km away from me and the most convenient as I will even be able to drive there myself should a situation arise. There’s Dalview Life which is 6.2 km away and there’s Glynnwood Life which is 5.9km away however Discovery Health chooses to have Gynaecologists in Sunward park netcare I can consult then have a hospital in Primrose (Roseacres) which is apparently the closest but it is actually 16km away from me and passes through some creepy squattacamps with sewages all over and the road seems isolated. I for one as a woman, my husband is not always available to drive with me, we meet at the Dr’s office mostly and I am subjected to drive through such a condition just so there’s no copayments in case of hospital admissions but again why would a medical scheme choose hospitals far from my address for my address for admission unless they purposefully want to make extra cash on copayments. I phoned them the one time to query this and the advisor on the phone advised that there is nothing they can do and that I need to relocate closer to the hospitals in my network which is crazy because I bought my house in the preferred location of my choice and now I’m told I must sell my house in order to be comfortable with their scheme! This statement was quite upsetting that I am even considering changing to another service provider as I find myself in a tight position and forced to stress in my condition because of a scheme that wants to **** me R10000 copayment to give birth. Another frustrating thing is that I have already built a relationship with the gynaecologist they had available for me at Sunward park netcare only to be told I need to find a new gynaecologist because having a gynaecologist in Sunward park available does not mean I have to give birth at Sunward park like how diabolical is that???!!!
