Concerned mum

My daughter has a Lipoma on her shoulder which is 10x10 as per the doctor...I'm on Key Care (which in my opinion we also pay our contributions like a member on another plan) but with Key Care you have certain exclusion and the removal of this lipoma is part of those exclusions. The surgeon wrote a motivation letter as this thing causes my daughter pain when caring her school bag due to it's location and I have called and fortunately I spoke to a lady consultant and I could explain to her the fact that my daughter is starting to become very shy to wear anything that reveals this growth on her shoulder in public. She is scared that kids will tease her which they will and I fail to understand why this is so difficult for the medical board of Discovery to approve as this just a big lump that is situated in a place that a young girl feels embarrassed about. I feel that I contribute to the fund like any other person. I don't understand why one should be excluded from certain necessary procedures just because you on Key Care. The children has already given this lump a name- they now call it Bob
