Co-payment

I called your authorisation department to request for authorisation for a gastroscopy procedure. They told me that because I'm not using a doctor in the network they can only pay 200% not more and also the hospital is not part of the network so I will have to pay a co-payment of R7100. The consultant advised me to get a doctor or hospital in the network of which I did. I called in again for authorisation this for the hospital in the network and a doctor the network. The guy who helped never advised on any co-payment even thou I asked if all is okay with the hospital and that discovery will pay. I get to my appoinment and I was told that there is a co-payment of R3900 that I was never told of . I called discovery again and the lady apologised and told me that the guy was supposed to let me know. So now I asked if I should cancel my procedure and go home because I don't have that kind of money and I was yes by the discovery lady. She said she can move the authorisation number to another date. Now I had to hassle money to pay for my procedure. I find it so unfair as I have been with Discovery since 2014 and I have never been in hospital. I pay over R2000 a month but still had to pop out R3900 from my account because someone didn't advise me about it. This is unfair for real, please listen to the calls and let me know if I'm mistaking and maybe I should also get the copies of calls.
