Clinton Hospital account from 2016??

Good day sir

In 2015 my son Yusuf jaydah Tawakali was airlifted and got admitted at Clinton Hospital for a month and to my understanding all cost were settled by medical aid as it was in hospital and the scheme paid...

This morning I got a text from Amanda Khanyile on *** references number : *** saying we are owing the hospital R148,000 that needs to be settled before the end of business day or I will be listed with itc and I will summoned to court for the said amount...

My question is why would they take six years to contact me and why did medical aid not settle this amount when my son was hospitalized for a month...

Can someone please call me explain to me what's going on here...
