I had to go for a Coronavirus test for work purposes, so I went to Discovery Health website and checked if this test was covered. Yes, it is subject to Discovery Health screening which at the time was not mentioned on there website or I did not see it. I went to the doctor and asked them to check if the test was covered 100% by Discovery Health and they advise me that it was. After having the test done by the doctor and we had left the doctor, I get a phone call from the doctor that I have to pay for the doctors consultation. Now a month later, get an account from Lancet. Discovery Health has not paid for the Coronavirus tests. What am I paying MEDICAL INSURANCE for.
