claim submitted two weeks ago - no feedback

I submitted a claim on 1 Feb ref *** but have not received feedback, I called on Monday the 8th and was told it will be escalated and I will be called back - no response! I sent through an email as well but still no feedback. Please advise what is the hold up and revert back as in yesterday.
