Claim not paid more than 1 month has passed

On the 22 June 2017 at 11:14 am i submitted a medical claim to discovery life via email,on the contents of the of the email it was clearly written please pay claim amount into the bank account were my monthly medical aid premiums are deducted from.On the 26 June 2017 i received a claims notification email to say my claim was approved and will be paid to me on the 26 June 2017.I then waited 3 days because i had not received payment into my bank account,so i called discovery health on the 29 June 2017 and spoke to Vinolia reference ********** 177 who informed me that there was a payment issue due to invalid banking details and she advised me that i must logon to the discovery website and update the banking details for claims and within 48 hours of updating my bank details payment should reflect into my account. So i did exactly what was told to me by Vinolia.4 days later having still not received payment i called in again on the 4 July 2017 and spoke to Kelly Reference ********** 326 who told me all was inorder and the payment should reflect into my bank account in 24 - 48 hours.6 days later having still not recieved payment i called in on the 10 July 2017 and spoke to Callan reference ********** 792 he advised me that was a issue on the finance department side as the claim was approved but not released to the bank for payment,Callan then logged a query with the finance department and the turnout around time for an answer 48 hours,Callan had promised to give me call once he had received feedback from the finance department, that call from Callan never happened. On the 12 June i spoke to Gordon reference ********** 768 one of the most polite and professional people i have ever met.I asked Gordon to follow up on reference ********** 792 that was given to me 2 days ago by Callan.Gordon managed to obtain feedback for me that my query was being dealth with, for some reason my claim was going to be paid via cheque instead of EFT payment even though i was advised by Vinolia on the 29 June once i update my banking details payment will reflect with 48 hours,NO were did she mention or any of the discovery staff mention a cheque payment for my claim.Gordon then advised that a request was sent to remove my claim for cheque payment and a EFT will happen as per the comments it takes 10 days.Today is the 27 July over a month later and i have not received payment.I am tired of calling discovery health, references are just an act to reassure the customer but they are filled with empty promises.I am currently researching the next step perhaps an ombud claim for this kind of mediocre service.I have not since the 22 June receieved a call from Discovery health to apologise for the inconvenience.Over the next few days i will be getting quotes from other medical aid companies.
