claim not paid

I consulted a doctor and paid cash since I had no funds in my MSA and submitted a claim to discovery. Discovery subsequently paid the doctor again instead of paying me the portion that I had paid all because they cannot split payments since the doctor claimed a higher amount than the cash payment that I made. I called twice to query this and every time I am told they cannot assist which means it’s my loss.
