Claim done off WRONG Medical Aid
K here's the deal: My dad and I each have a medical aid with Discovery. BOTH our medical aids are loaded on the same system at Dischem Northgate. My mom is on my dad's medical aid. So can you believe my shock and horror when a claim of R3,173.19 was taken off MY MSA FOR MY MOM's chronic meds?! Granted, mistakes happen: The Dischem employee probably selected the wrong medical aid on the system (They will hear from me, believe me).

What enrages me so much is that Discovery is now turning around and making it MY PROBLEM! No help or service offered by the call centre, I'm simply told that I'm the one that now has to go to Dischem to sort the mess out! Don't you guys check claims before approving them? If you did, you'd see there is NO WAY a MALE would need some of the meds that you happened to approve of his MSA. Or does the complacency run that deep?

I don't care how you do it, but between Discovery and Dischem YOU WILL FIX this WITHOUT me running around, or you'll find yourself shy of a client SO FAST it'll make your head spin!

I've never heard of such bad service. I'M NOT EMPLOYED BY EITHER DISCOVERY OR DISCHEM, SO I'M NOT FIXING YOUR MESSES FOR YOU!!!

Get back to me ASAP!
