Chronic Medicine Claim

<p>I had to travel overseas. I did not have enough medication to carry me for the whole trip so I had to fill my prescription early. The pharmacist as Dischem informed me that this is fine I can just claim it back from Discovery - she even gave me a invoice for claim purposes.</p> <p> </p> <p>Now Discovery is refusing to pay the script of R700. No scrip that is filled early can be claim for at any stage. So at least Discovery is scoring R700 bucks from me for a month - as they would have paid for it anyway no matter the 'service date'</p> <p> </p> <p>According to discovery I was supposed to apply for early filling of my script by providing reasons and documentation. </p> <p> </p> <p>Can you please ensure that your 'network pharmacies' get clued up on this, so that you don't financially abuse others as well. </p>
