chronic medication for my son
when I asked for a downgrade on my medical aid & for my son to be the main member one of the questions I asked was is chronic medication part of the keycare plus, I was told yes, guess what I went to get my sons monte air & was told he is not covered for this medication, my son is on chronic meds & I have sent you all the information what must I do now, you are really so bad at your service I am really so mad at the moment my son must get his meds

Thank you for your comment.
We confirmed that the KeyCare plan does have access to the Chronic Illness Benefit (CIB) and medication that is on our CIB formulary will be covered on the plan. Monte air is not part of the formulary and is therefore not covered on KeyCare. If the doctor substitutes the medication for a medication that does appear on the formulary, we will cover this medication from the CIB as long as you use a KeyCare pharmacy.
