chronic medication for my 4yr old son
On 12 May 2015 i called Medxpress to follow up on the order for my 4year old sons chronic medication that he needs to prevent epileptic seizures. I have only ever refilled using their sms service that they provide. BUT this according to the many people that i have chatted to at the medxpress support centre (not helpful folks) works on a 24 day cycle and not a normal 30 day cycle, this has now caused the issue where i cannot claim for my sons medication as according to their \lovely"system i have claimed 14 times in the last 12 months (which is highly impossible as we only get a 6months script at a time and he only receives one bottle of medication per month - so according to my calculation it should only be 12 bottles) <br> The only reason i have used medxpress is because DISCOVERY forced me to use this useless service. I am now stuck with the dilemma of how am i going to get my son his medication as med aid works on the same codes. So i cant even claim it over the counter and use my day to day benefits!!!!! YOUR MEDXPRESS STAFF ARE UNFRIENDLY AND USELESS. AND YOUR SYSTEM NEEDS TO BE LOOKED AT AGAIN!"""

As discussed I confirmed that the MedXpress confirmed they are unable to process any further medication until the next order date. On your first order with the MedXpress Team you were notified of the various methods to re-order medication which is not limited to SMS.
We do notify members every 23 days to remind the member to re-order medication to ensure the medication is dispensed within an appropriate time frame. We do make a concession for this by allowing a further 2 months orders to ensure that the member is being provided the full 30 day time frame in which to claim medication.
We sent you a Claims Transaction History report showing that you have obtained full 12 month cycle worth of medication.
I am sorry that I could not provide you with a different outcome to your query however it is line with the Scheme rules.
