Chronic disappointment

Dear Discovery,

Please explain to me why the medicine was removed from your chronic medicine list, as I have been using it for the past 2 years on my chronic benefit. Is this purely because the plan changed? Please tell me which medicine I can use with exactly the same active ingredients and combination thereof as the Coveram 5/5. When I spoke to a consultant from Discovery I was told there is no other medicine, that is why I was send this process to follow to get the medicine approved. It’s seems that your medical support is just wasting your clients time and money by sending them on a wild gooses chase.

My history of blood pressure problems is that I have in the past tried multiple different medicines, none was affective and had bad side effects. In January 2017 I had a bad reaction to the medicine causing my blood pressure to spike to 216/156 and I had a bad nose bleed. After going to the Dr (Dr Louise Geldenhuis) he recommended I see a Cardiologist (Dr Kobus Barnard). After much expense of time and money I was finally prescribed a medicine that was effective with no side affects, the Coveram 5/5.

Discovery’s corporate greed is rendering the chronic benefit useless…
