Caught up in discovery and black practitioners beef

It seems as if I am caught between discovery and black practitioners distrust war. Discovery never told me the doctor I saw the Friday before I was admitted refused to fill in the PMA form. On the day she saw me as I was seeing her for gynae problems she adviced on me doing a papsmear which I agree and discovery paid the doctor for the papsmear. What puzzles me is they paid for the papsmear without getting medical information if though I wasn't using the practitioner in their network.
